How do we know they're the 3 best players of our generation??

Because they're the only players of the current era with 3 FMVP's

That puts them in the elite category, as only 5 players in history have 3 FMVPs

So congratulations for LeBron, Shaq, Duncan, for being an entire tier better than anyone of this generation, it's just amazing how much better they were than anyone else since MJ.

[QUOTE]It pains me to write this article.

As a die hard Portland Trailblazer fan, this is almost as hard as writing an article declaring Greg Oden a bust. (Luckily, I don

[QUOTE]Two seasons ago, I would have said Shaq or Duncan were the players of the decade. Shaq had added a fourth ring in 2006; Duncan did the same in 2007. In the meantime, Kobe's Lakers were struggling to make the playoffs.

Since then, to both his and the Lakers

Shaq, Kobe, and Duncan reign supreme over Lebron.

LeBron is now undoubtedly the best player of the 2000's. Maybe in all of professional sports of the 2000's.

It isn't even a debate anymore. But you're partially right, the only players that come close is Timmy and Shaq. They're like right behind him.

Nah, not even close. I'll agree he is the best in the 2010's but not a chance in hell he is even top 5 in the 2000's class.

Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, KG, and...well I guess you could argue Lebron is the 5th in the top 5 of the 2000's era, but it is between him, Wade, and Dirk. No championships and only 1 MVP in the 2000's doesn't make you the best lmao, especially with the big three of Kobe/Shaq/Duncan looking down at you with their dominance.

Literally that era will forever be remembered by those 3 players, so dominant.

Came into the league a bit later than Shaq and Duncan, but is still the greatest of the 2000's.

What a feat.

Yea, and the 80's and 90's also have 19 in front of them , it doesn't stop them from being designated to their own era.

The 00's are the 00's , and the 10's are the 10's.

I sincerely hope they find the cure for virginity or retardation for your sake because it's getting bad. :oldlol:

We're 16 years into the 2000's.

We can group them as the 2000's for now, until it hits 2019.

Fact is, as of RIGHT now, LeBron is the greatest player of the 2000's.

Lebron choked in the clutch against Duncan and missed the walk-off attempt - he needed Ray Allen to save him:

Naturally, Jordan MADE his walk-off attempt from the exact same spot in his first meeting against Duncan/Popovich to send the game into overtime:

After hitting the walk-off, MJ dominated overtime, including 2 dunks over Duncan:

In his 2nd meeting against Duncan, MJ dominated Duncan even more thoroughly:

It's obvious that Jordan only ever dominated Duncan and guys LIKE Duncan - they weren't "rivals" like they are for Lebron.. 6/6

MJ destroyed 2 of the 3 on that list:

He swept Shaq in 1996 ECF, dominated Duncan in regular season (see previous post), and then won the Finals against the team (Utah) that destroyed BOTH Shaq and Duncan in 1998 Western Conference playoffs.

MJ owns your list
