If you were paying attention, you'd have noticed that the Cavs big men stopped trying to stay directly in front of Curry when they switched off on him. They played him hard on his side to funnel him the other way on his dribble drives or to force him to take side step threes instead of step back shots. Curry's MCL sprain clearly affected him on the accuracy of his side step shots.

This tactic also wound up forcing Curry to take a few shots with his balance leaning forward (all bricks). The Cavs effectively took away the step back and straight up pull ups.

Steph still missed a bunch of semi open looks that he normally made throughout the season. I like Steph and hope he gets his groove back fo next season. Hopefully he can duplicate his 2016 regular season performance.
