If Barnes doesn't want the max, I'm 50/50 on keeping him unless a better option is available (Batum?). Dubs might want to go for a center too; Bogut's getting old and Ezeli is garbage offensively. I also never want to see Varejao play a game for GSW again :lol
Keep the bench mob intact :applause:

Need to add someone who can provide more rim protection and points in the paint.
But not Dwight. He'll insist on being a post-up guy instead of doing pick-and-rolls and will suck at it. If Howard was willing to do more pick and rolls and accept a smaller offensive role he would be great, hell he would have been great back in 2012-13 for the Lakers, but he wasn't and I doubt he is now.

Let Barnes walk
He showed us what he is made of
Klay 3D

- Sign Hassan Whiteside or Al Horford
- Let Barnes go cause he'd want too much $$$
- Pick up Marvin Williams and Jared Dudley
- (optional) Sign Brandon Bass as a decoy for Draymond. Good for suspensions and just faking

Get Noah or more preferably Al Horford. Move Bogut to the bench. Tell Ezeli to f*ck off.
-Bogut, Barnes, and Varejao need to go
-Need a younger rim protector
-A reliable backup to Draymond

man I hope the higher ups know that noel is the ticket.
NERLENS NOEL.
A blue collar guy with legit size and athleticism to challenge wing players and protect the rim with ease. And you don't have to run plays for him.

ideally whiteside or Horford. Maybe go for Batum. Another thing to add at sf if you spend more on your center is someone like marvin williams or kent bazemore.
Barnes out
We need a slasher bad,for when the threes are not going in.

I think we're in good shape overall. If Barnes wants big money, I'd let him walk. We can find someone else to sit in the corner and shoot 3's, and his defense is horrendous. An upgrade a Center would be nice, but Bogut / Ezili isn't THAT bad. You can't expect to have All-Star caliber players at every position. I'd like to add someone who can attack the paint off the dribble, because Klay is literally the only guy on the team who gets to the rim... and he's far from a great finisher.
Overall I don't think we need to make many changes. We won 73 games and got to game 7 of the NBA Finals. Our star players played poorly, and we lost. No amount of roster movement will change the fact that our star players have to deliver. I think Kerr needs to improve, and place more focus on the playoffs. The team claims that chasing the record didn't effect them, but their overall performance in the playoffs says otherwise.

A GAME 5 SUSPENSION AND LOSING YOUR ONLY.....ONLY......ONLY LEGIT 7 FOOTER THATS ALSO YOUR BEST RIM PROTECTOR COST THEM.

Millsap is their best rim protector but Horford is fine there. I agree Whiteside would be better but Horford might actually offer more offensively.

Honestly, not that much. They didn't lose the series because of talent disparity. They lost due to Kerr's improper game planning and too much hero ball from Klay and Curry. Not sure why they abandoned what was working in the first two games. They were blowing out the Cavs by simply swinging the ball and getting others involved. Barnes lost confidence because he was frustrated at Klay and Curry taking tough, contested shots from the three-point line.
I can see them going after a guy like Biyombo to fix their woes at the C position. Unlike Ezeli and Bogut, he's mobile enough to defend perimeter players.
Kerr also needs to improve from a coaching standpoint. Playing Ezeli and Varejao at C during crucial stretches sealed the deal for Cleveland. There's no excuse for his rotations in the last three games. I'd like to see McAdoo and Looney get more burn next season. I think they both can be valuable components to that team.
