After watching Kyrie get robbed of FMVP this is extremely reminiscent of the Kobe/Shaq situation during the 3peat years. Stat sheet wise Shaq had the numbers, but when you actuallywatched the games Kobe was the heart and soul. He fed him most of his points, whilst hitting all the timely shots/locking up the opposing best player and going Clutchbe mode. Much like LeBron, Shaq was a liability in crunch time.
Both were awarded FMVP for getting more rebounds than shorter, skinnier guards.
