Seriously, how does this happen? Was something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

Curry's knee seemed to be worse than what was being reported.

"There isn't any surgery or anything in my future this summer. but there is no excuses for what happened on the floor," Curry said.

Because the playoffs is a different ball game. Nobody coasts in the playoffs except maybe for the first round. :oldlol:

How do you go from losing 9 games in 6 months to losing 9 games in 6 weeks? It's something more than we know goin on.

Apparently GSW played the RS like it was the finals... They wasted too much energy to achieve the "best regular season team ever"-title. In the end, which will matter more - 57/25 + the championship or 73/9 and finish 2nd.

seems easier to lose when you play the same team days in a row. by the 3rd or 4th game they probably noticed some ways to exploit your d or lock you down they didnt notice the first time

They've been put to the test. But yah there's something that haunts em and it snowballed from there. Injuries, expectations, fatigue we don't know.

fatigue, pressure, missed a bunch of three's (their hallmark so to speak) injuries, better competition

No more shitty teams to feast on. Teams figuring out that the Warriors are pedestrian when you play big against them and force them off the 3-point line. Props to Billy Donovan for exposing the shit out of the Warriors and Kyrie for not choking like Durant/Westbrook.

Just seems like they weren't good at reacting to the pressure. Were unstoppable when things were going great. They did come back on OKC when there backs were against the wall but outside of that never really faced much adversity. Green goes out, Curry gets injured/loses his magic and guess that was it for them. Disappointing for sure.

I'm curious to see how they rebound going forward.

Oh yeah the Warriors have set an unbreakable record, with the same number of losses in regular season and playoffs.

They have no post play at all and they went cold from 3 as expected in the postseason.

Also missing their only rim protector for the last 3 games in the Finals was a HUGE loss.

That said it's awesome to see GS fans miserable after 06-07 ;)

The playoffs are more difficult and their best player is Steph Curry. He obviously is not the same player. Used to illegals screens, zero MVP points the previous Finals so it's not something new, would not be the same player in the 90s, rules changes made it much easier for 3 point shooting with more spacing, but the ref allow the game to be more physical, doesn't have more of an offensive game if the 3s are not falling, no defense, Etc.

Also their record was inflated, with a weak East, and this new era of resting stars, playoff teams saving their best players for the playoffs. Meanwhile GS went all out to beat the Bulls record, and publicly stated so.
