2011 Heat or 2016 Warriors

Two "star-studded" teams that "dominated" the regular season but got analed in the playoffs so hard that their opponent's rings become asterisks themselves.

2011 Heat actual best players: Wade, Bosh
Best player on the Mavs: 2* MVP Lebron

2016 Warriors actual best players: Klay, Dray,
Best player on the Cavs: 2* MVP Curry.

What do you expect when a scrub big man tries to take the reigns out of Kobe?

They've should've stuck to the championship combo with Kobe in the lead.

When was the last time Kobe won a playoff series?

The 2011 Heat weren't a 73 win team or up 3-1:facepalm

Fair, but also consider Heat were 100% healthy, no suspensions, and had prime LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. They were against 33 year old Dirk.

Bogut injured, Draymond suspended, Iguodala (and Steph) were reasons for the last 3 losses. And they played against a GOAT player in LeBron and highest payroll stacked Cavs team.

Quit crying. The Warriors collapse is by far worst. They were up 3-1 and lost 2 at home, including game 7. Plus, the Cavs beat them twice wearing sleeves. Truly an all-time great implosion.

Hard to think of a bigger choke than the 2004 Finals. Lakers were even bigger favorites than the Warriors were.

And hard to think of a more disappointing/underachieving team in NBA history than the 2013 Lakers.

The 2011 Miami Heat were far from a dominating regular season team on the level of the 2016 Warriors.

The Heat started 9-8 or something like that before going on a run, they were relying on their overwhelming talent and didn't mesh well for a huge chunk of the season and the playoffs. They lost the regular season match ups against the Bulls and the Mavs, and there were definitely a lot of people that had the Bulls coming out of the East that year.

Sure, the Heat were favoured to win, but at the end of the day you're looking at a 58 win team vs a 57 win team.

The choke by the Warriors... is comparable to the 07 Mavs choke in the first round.

After the decision/welcome party the Heat's loss was humiliating, they really did choke away games 2 & 4, but the Warriors was worse, they had 3 chances to finish a 73 win season but instead became the first team to blow a 3-1 lead in the Finals and the first team to lose a Finals Game 7 at home in nearly 40 years
