View Full Version : LeBron never lost a championship clinching game

Every time LeBron was 48 minutes from a title, he ALWAYS won.

No excuses

Everytime we got 3 wins in the Finals, he always won the next game to win the championship

Game 5 vs OKC

Game 7 vs Spurs

Game 7 vs Warriors

Meanwhile Jordan lost TWICE in a championship clinching game just in 1996 itself. Jordan was up 3-0 and LOST the next 2 games to the underdog Sonics instead of closing the deal.

This is the difference in killer instinct between Jordan and LeBron. The difference from being an alpha closer and a beta.

LeBron always closed the deal, MJ didnt

yep, he is the greatest of all time, no doubts about it now. Jordan got his rings in a weak expansion era and a top 20 player of all time in pippen.

Lebron lost 4 times in elimination games in the Finals

Jordan never allowed an elimination game in the Finals

Lebron has also lost with HCA in the Finals, having another team celebrate the title on his home court not once, not twice, not thrice but four times :kobe:

On a completely unrelated note, Curry still has 0 FMVP votes :pimp:

After further research, Jordan also LOST in 1993 Game 5 with a chance to win the championship, and ANOTHER lost opportunity in Game 5 in 1998. Another two opportunities to clinch the championship wasted

So total times lost in a championship clinching game (where the stakes are highest)

Jordan - 4

LeBron - 0

:biggums:

LeBron is just too damn clutch

Every time MJ was in a Finals series, he won.

6-0.

EVERYTIME

Meanwhile, Lebron has gone 3/7.

I repeat--THREE FOR SEVEN.

Let that marinate for a while.

Yes, I agree OP, LeBron won everytime a championship was about to be won, but Jordan lost 4 times when he couldve clinched the championship (1993, 1996 twice, 1998)

Thank you for educating me.

Oh and btw he also went 1-9, why did I ever think of comparing MJ to the greatness of LeBron? :( .

Now, now its okay. We all make mistakes
