I think the Cavs got shook when they heard the trade. Not the best parade I think, when they heard the bad news for them.

The LeBron nut-riding part of me doesn't care about this obviously.
As a Nets fan though, I love the fact that the Knicks have made this treadmill move. No Rose/Melo team could ever make real noise and if they resign Rose and keep Melo, this almost guarantees in my mind that Phil's tenure will end before they even make a second round appearance. Which I love.
On paper it gives NYK more flexibility to either go after D12 if they think that's the way to go, or to try to get a wing and slide Kristaps to the 5. They can go a lot of directions now in terms of what kind of roster they want to field next season, but one thing that will remain a fixture as long as Melo and now Rose are on that team is that they won't win a thing.
The Brooklyn Nets will win a championship before the New York Knicks. Marks/Atkinson/Pop Tree Fam, GET IN HERE.
