3 players who are awful defense. In their primes I could see a 5-8 seed, assuming those are the Lakers "big three"

no pun intended

Ingram is reputed to be an above average defender.

Well, all the reports I've read on the guy indicate he has motor issues and is very inconsistent on defense BUT when he tries he can be pretty good.

So I guess we shall see:confusedshrug:

But ya, calling Ingram terrible was bad.

I think that was Simmons. But it's understandable because his team sucked so bad

Ingram only has his length as his defense right now, because he isn't quick enough to stay infront of pgs (not that he is slow thoug) and he isn't strong enough to bang with frontcourt players

We need to see these bitches play together first.

Russell and Ingram will be fine.

Not too sure about Randle though. It's hard to envision him playing in Luke's system if remains the same. If he gets better defensively or can at least knock his mid range jumper at a decent %, then maybe.

He is still young and can improve

Russell is going to have to show some major improvements. I think it's a good young core. I have no clue why the Lakers wasted their money on Roy Hibbert last year.

Lakers right now are trying to trade russell... So yeah that's what they think of him

Randle is trash

Ingram will be a bust

Lakers are screwed and I love it

We needed a center and his 20ish million expired at the end of the season. He was basically a rental that was cap friendly for this years free agency and beyond.

The best young core in the league. 2 First option level superstars and an ideal hustle guy/3rd option level scorer/6th man in Randle.

Lakers did not say that, only Chad Ford.
And no, the Lakers don't listen to Chad Ford for front office decisions

Why not just appreciate the kids instead of hating on them because they're linked to the Lakers?
Surely, you can't be like that in real life
