View Full Version : Do you really think FA's want to play out East after they just saw what Lebron did?

The way I look at it, free agents have 3 options

1. Go out East and burn yourself out dueling with NBA's toughest and most physical defenses. At max have your playoffs fall short to Lebron James and co.

or

2. Go out West, play soft run n gun teams, coast through your reg season having only 2.5 elite teams to face. At max, wear yourself out through two months of playoffs only to fall short to Lebron James and co. in the Finals.

or

3. Join Lebron and Cavs to get that fat Finals bonus $$$ for hitting your contract quota

LOL of course.

Don't let one championship get to your head.

You sound like a Warrior fgt

there may be only 2.5 elite teams out West but there's only one elite team out East. :confusedshrug:

Of course not. It's not just lebron. It's the lebron, Kyrie duo. People starting to realize they might be the two best players in the league right now. That's a daunting task to have to go up against especially if you're not even going to get finals press for your misery. Saying that, I really need to see more stars in the East. I want to see an elite team form in the East that can challenge Cleveland in the coming years. The raptors don't worry me one bit. Cavs might sweep them next time

What team in the East is close to beating Cleveland? Especially since Toronto might lose DD or Biyombo, and Boston still needs to cash-in with their assets. Atlanta traded Teague, and probably losing Horford. Indy traded their best Cavs killer in George Hill and might lose Mahimi. Miami needs to find away to get another piece/Bosh to get back on the court. Hornets don't have a star player.

GS played one good team last year before Cleveland. They played a s.hit Houston in the first round. And a Portland team with two good players and nothing else in the 2nd round. Not to mention every team GS beat in the playoffs last year was hurt.

Since CLE was beaten 52 years in a row or something, statistically it is quite easy to do it again.

much easier to beat Lebron in the conference finals over in the east then to come out of the west and then play lebron when your team is gassed from the bloodbath of needing to beat the likes of Spurs, Clippers, Golden State and OKC....

If i had the choice between

DET, ATL, CLE

and

LAC, OKC, SAS

I'd take the cakewalk instead of the western bloodbath
