I think Love, Irving, Tristan Thompson & Lebron are lock to get their numbers retired.Maybe JR Smith too.

But Varejao buried himself for a ring, and he didnt even get the ring.

He should join Cavs for free this summer, play for no money and regain his status. He be dumb to throw it all away.

no pun intended

Why do you make it sound like it was his choice to leave the Cavs?

Is Big Z's number retired?

You really think all those guys are getting their number retired?

I'll say LeBron for sure. Kyrie if he retires there. Everybody were just role players and don't deserve it.

why would Varejao's number be retired in the first place?

Not sure why there was such an uproar over Varejao's flopping. That has always been his game. Sure, he probably cranked it up a notch because it's the finals. But the guy was just trying to win anyway he can.

Irving, LeBron, and Thompson (going to be top 5 for games played as a Cavalier, easily) are already locks. Agreed about the rest though. Odds are though, Love gets retired also. Varejao doesn't deserve it, but he is going to get the Big Z treatment because he played there forever.

I don't think his number gets retired.

He was a solid to good player, had terrible injury luck.

I was unhappy when they traded him, but it obviously worked out in the end.

I don't have any animosity towards him for signing with GSW and no cavs fan should.

He should absolutely get a cavaliers championship ring.

I just don't see it man. You right about Andy flopping. That's his game but it seemed like he wasn't even trying to play defense in the finals.

So much misinformation in this thread. Most of it is from coined.

Would've been hilarious if Varejao popped into the locker room during the celebration to pop bottles. :oldlol:

There was some hostility between the Cavs players and Varejao during the series. It probably can be written off as opposing players competing, but who knows...

He will probably go back this summer or eventually and he will get a ring

He brings absolutely nothing to the table. He is shot as a player physically. he can't rebound, defend, or scrap for loose balls and putbacks.

He's nothing more than a fill-in for resting players who does nothing other than flop

Andy will be back, either in a uniform or a suit (like Z).

His roster in the rafters is a given IMO.

I was wearing my Cavs Varejao jersey downtown yesterday. :lol
