I work in a hospital over nights. Women far outnumber men and half of the guys seem to be homo's. The temptation is unbelievable there sometimes..nurses are horny that's all I'll say. I'm tall and I've been told that I have a good build. Well the other day I was helping a male nurse with a patient and afterwards he tried to talk to me. He was trying to flirt with me...it was really awkward. He wasn't rude..so I didn't want to be rude back..but I got out of dodge. I'm avoiding that wing of the hospital for now on. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Multiple times.

Most recent was about a year ago. I was at Walmart wearing a shirt that displayed my college (SUNY Oneonta). A guy comes up to me and starts talking about the college, etc. Seemed harmless.

Things escalated quickly and I was invited to his "dance" studio for a free class. He and his "partner" ran the studio. He was looking for some d!ck.

I was wearing athletic shorts and a t-shirt, nothing "feminine" or that said "I love to dance with guys".

I felt violated.

Yes. I'm near Hollywood, around here it happens. The best thing you can do is be polite, tell them you're flattered but your also straight. I don't know about you, but I try not to hurt feelings in situations like this, especially if you have to work with them. Since your situation happens in a work place, it's probably best for you to correct this issue as soon as possible. The last thing you need are distractions like this in the work place. The sooner this gets resolved, the less you need to worry about it. You wont need to avoid that wing of the hospital if you get everything clear as day.

This reminds me of something that happened to me in the past at an old job. I worked with this guy...really nice, but seemed kinda feminine. Well one day he asked me if I wanted to go out and hang out with him and some "guy" friends. He wasn't forthright, but I kinda got the hint. Good thing he left a month or two after that.

No but just recently in my school this black kid who at the time nobody knew was gay started complimenting another guys legs and said "So what do you think of me?"

He just said "I'm not into that" and got up and left

Firm and straight to the point. Good for the kid. He didn't resort to any name calling either.
