He's just a choker. Like Peyton Manning.

Played like the best offense in the regular season. Getting carried by a defensive player in the post season.

No surgery= he wasn't playing with anything significant . You don't play as many minutes and consecutive games if you have a serious issue. Compare his postseason to Kyrie's last year. Kyrie would come back then have to take future games off. They constantly talked about his foot and knee problems. Now that was a guy playing through injuries. Curry was fine

Doesn't change the fact that he was and is still injured

That is why he pulled out of the Olympics

Interestingly enough, both LeBron and Peyton Manning are current champions.

oh the horror

Just because he doesn't require surgery doesn't mean he wasn't hurting. HOWEVER that isn't an excuse. Injuries in the playoffs happen. We all know this. He didn't perform when they needed him.

If dude had a big game 7 they may have won and he didn't. It is what it is.

He backpedaled onto a wet spot and injured his MCL and wasn't able to get the explosiveness and change of direction he usually had

I can see the community here still doesn't appreciate basketball.

If at this point you are talking about Lebron asterisks or questioning his legacy, you don't understand basketball.

If at this point you are making fun of Curry, especially if you are a Cleveland fan, you don't understand basketball.

These teams are going again next year for round 3. Enjoy the epic rivalries while they last. GSW-Cle is not over and any true basketball fun will just soak it all in. Fun stuff.

hate it or love it Curry is a tough SOB. Dude be alright even though he cost his team the Finals. Irving did to him what Parker use to do to Nash.

overrated, system shooting guard.

2016 finals
3.7 assists per game
4.2 turnovers a game

Shook and scared. Hounded by Clevelands swarming defense into bad decisions.

Stephen A.

I don't like him much as a journalist, but he does generally call things first. I believe he was one of if not the first talking about the Boston big 3 happening, and he was most definitely first to call Bron to Miami, and Bron back to Cleveland, when most people thought there would be no shot he leaves another team again.

Dude is on point with his research.

But look at the number Kyrie put these Finals, he was very key this year. Without him they don't win. A year earlier he was watching the Finals from a hospital room. Does that mean that GS should get an * for the year before? The Warriors weren't as good as this years team, so should the team from the year before get an *? I mean considering the way you view injuries.

They should. Kyrie was arguably the best player on the offensive side of the ball in the finals. That was s huge loss for the cavs. Kevin love is their third best player and had the highest +/- of any player in game 7. Kyrie hit the game winner, Kevin love locked down steph in the subsequent possession. Mozgov was healthier last year and much better. Shumpert was better last year. Delly was healhty last year and couldn't play much this year due to nagging injuries. Golden state would have lost to Cleveland 4-1 last year and they absolutely deserve an asterisk for last year. Say what you want about curry being banged up, but at least he got to play in games and played more minutes than someone with a significant injury would play. Kyrie was more hobbled in game 1 of last year's finals than curry was at any point in this series and he missed the rest of the games.

Their no such thing as * when it comes to championships. Kyrie injury last year + Love injury in the Finals = Bogut injury this year + Green suspension. The real key why Cavs won of course Love big game in 7 but the coaching of Lue and Warriors weak bigs. They didn't have no big like David Lee coming off the bench this year.

Last year the Cavs were banged up, you can give the Warriors an asterisk if you would like

This year the Dubs were banged up, you can give the Cavaliers an asterisk if you would like

Next year Curry will be healthy and it will probably be a rematch with GS and Cavaliers in the Finals and we will see who is the best team and best player

"Making fun" of Curry is not the same as pointing out that he was totally outplayed by his PG counterpart in the series. I think for the most part the Cavs and their fans were relatively humble consisering the hubris Golden State players, the owner and a lot of the fans displayed over the course of the season and even during The Finals.

I recall baby bottle emojis and questions about players' manhood and comparisons to the Showtime Lakers before even winning the title... and I also recall Lacob acting like he was personally responsible for changing basketball forever.

...just massive amounts of smugness.

When you do that and the target of a lot of your conceit comes back to tear your heart out, prepare to get a little back.
