Great move and T-Wolves getting real serious if they can complete it. If not I hate the Dunn pick. Should have surrounded Wiggins/KAT with a young shooter not someone like Dunn who needs the ball. If your going to replace Rubio would have made sense to go with a shooter because that's the only thing Rubio lacks.

Deal makes too much sense with Thibs/Chicago maybe rebuilding/T-Wolves trying to compete/drafting Dunn for it not to eventually happen.

Rebuilding or retooling...that was their only 2 options.

They had to trade Rose regardless. He hasn't been good for 5 years...LOL..and he and Butler don't fit.

So that had to be done no matter what.

Now the question is...do you build around a 26 year old Butler and try to win? Or do you trade Butler at his peak value on a good contract and get a lot for him and bottom out.

They'll be able to flip Lopez for future assets as well. Gibson would net something as well.

I'd do a complete rebuild, but won't hate it if they just retool around Butler.

Funny people forgot all the stupid stuff Butler was saying about his coach. I would be surprised if they traded him this soon. They might believe this personality type isn't one to build around.
