Too much raw talent to bust. He may have a bad season in Philly... but that team is a train wreck, and doesn't have the proper pieces to compliment Simmons currently.

I don't like his demeanor, but he averaged 19,12 and 5 as a freshman. He's going to put up numbers, but I don't see him being successful in the playoffs.

Depends on how they use him.
If they try to make him into something he's not because of the "next Lebron" hype, he'll fail miserably.

He should just focus on becoming an elite playmaker and midrange shooter this season while still letting Okafor (and hopefully Embiid) still eat inside.

I just don't like his attitude for some reason. I don't think he's serious about the game and don't believe he will thrive especially in an environment produced by the Sixers.

These days, rookies are mostly boys being thrown into a man's game. Not many are ready to thrive at that level. They are being drafted on speculation that they will develop into a solid player. Not sure that this baptism by fire method is good for the players (other than many of them getting [over]paid) or good for the league.

I think the overall product suffers because you basically have interns trying to do a journeyman's work.
