0/22 is already the nail in the coffin for that little boy's legacy but 0/33 should be an immediate retirement

Golden State would need to make a number of adjustments just to make the Finals next year such as cutting off Ayesha's Wi-Fi privileges and getting Steph's parents back together.

If Durant signs with the dubs Curry may never win FMVP. So you are looking at 0/77 to 0/99.

Solely dependent on what Durant does. Knowing that he has a meeting with three teams so far - Thunder, Spurs, Warriors - The only way I see GSW back in the finals is if Durant goes there.

OKC has already made the necessary adjustments to make the finals next year if Durant resigns one more year.

The Spurs would just be too good if Durant went there, as would the Warriors.

Steph better get down on his knees in that meeting if he wants to win another ring in his career.

Envisioning them playing together blows my mind. The Warriors offense would be SO overpowered it's pretty insane.

Kobe and Shaq played together. So did Magic and Kareem. Curry and KD duo would be crazy but not unprecedented.

The GSW are already a GOAT level offense without Durant. Adding him would just be overkill.

And btw, If Steph misses the 2017 Finals it's still 0/33

Difference is that Curry and Durant are ten times better than any version of Kobe. It would be like having 2 shaq-lites. 2 alpha stars along with Klay and draymond.
That's much more than Shaq + a 40% finals shooter

Nope. Showtime Lakers had Magic, Kareem, and Worthy. Curry, Draygod, and Klay is not even close. The dubs run a great system but their struggles in the playoffs and eventual loss in the finals prove that you need a great iso scorer when plays break down. The refs allow holding and physical play in the playoffs so that clearly ruined the dubs finesse system. The dubs had a GOAT regular season offense but their playoff offense isn't anything special. Klay and Draygod are for the most part spot up shooters. Curry could score in multiple ways when he is healthy but he wasn't. Having Durant would provide the dubs offense with much needed versatility. He can post up and drive to the basket not just chuck 3s. Curry, Durant, and Klay can be a comparable offensive trio to Magic, Kareem, and Worthy. Draygod is more a defensive player who can score here and there but not consistently.

Only stans care about individual awards. Curry already said that he doesn't care about FMVP. Curry already has 2 regular season MVPs and a ring. Adding 5-6 rings would only enhance his legacy regardless of who wins FMVP. IMO Klay would benefit the most from playing with Curry and Durant. Klay would get a ton of wide open looks and he is the best spot up shooter in the NBA. I wouldn't be surprised if he won 3 FMVPs.

Durant, Klay, and Draygod will be playing together on team USA this summer. If Durant signs they can get a head start in developing some on court chemistry.

Make no mistake about it folks. Each of the 2 elite superstars in Durant and Curry are better than Kobe ever was.
This isn't like Shaq carrying his sidekick. This is unprecedented. Adding an elite player to a 73 win team!

Kobe in the 2001 playoffs was far superior to Curry and Durant in this year's postseason. I don't understand the need for blatant trolling. 2001 Kobe and Shaq was the most dominant postseason duo ever.

Gate to break this down to you but he shot 40% when it counted. When he plays the east, he chokes on the big stage :lol

Curry has double Kobe's career total of mvps ALrEaDY

You do understand the finals was a mere formality in 2001 right? Overall playoffs plus finals(the entire postseason) Kobe was 1st in total win shares(3.8) and 4th overall in PER. 2001 Kobe was a far superior defender than Curry and Durant. He was 3rd in defensive win shares behind only Shaq and Mutumbo.

His numbers are impressive and currently up there with the likes of Jordan, but he also has half the amount of rings. If that doesn't factor in to you, your priorities are messed up.

This would break the sport if it happens to be honest. I think having a competitive league would be better. As for 0/33, lets see if the Warriors make the final again next year. OKC and Spurs are going to be one hell of a match up if they fare against one another. One step at a time. :pimp:
