That's when I knew he would be top 3 all time one day. Not just top 12, but top 3.

Yeah? And what did he do once he got to the Finals? :whatever: Let's scratch that from the history books, he was better off not even going than getting bent over and violated repeatedly by old Bowen.

one of those cases where going 3/6 would've helped his career playoff stats more :(. I still think it was a net positive however just because of game 5.

Remember when Irving carried LeBron to the finals tho?

So in reality Lebron is 3/6... not even Jordan could've won with that crappy team against the juggernaut Spurs... no need to even bring these finals up

the only time that's ever happened is in your dreams at night. The Finals was the closest between Kyrie and Lebron and Lebron was still clearly more important.

Yeah right, that's why he cried to the refs especially for having the niguh he was guarding suspended for no reason. Irving is the only person I respect on that team.

doesn't matter if you don't respect him, you really just don't know basketball if you think Irving carried James. I guess at least props for still commenting on this forum however.

Irving carried him in points all playoffs. Bron was gifted points game 5 and 6 cuz of Draymond. Draymond was also scared in game 6 cuz of the refs doing him dirty and everybody knows it.

Iverson, Kidd and Dwight all did the same thing... It was standard, due to the weak nature of the conference

and the 07' Finals ended up being a debacle, and a mark on Lebron's resume.. he had the 2 seed that got swept by the champs with worst-ever personal performance - mj's record against the celtics at the same age, or taking the champs 6 games with a 6 seed in year 4 (same season) are both more impressive.

But ultimately, neither MJ or Lebron was good at carrying a bad team to a decent record or seed in their first couple seasons - both had 8 or 9 seeds that missed the playoffs or lost in the 1st round

Only in their 3rd season (06' and 88'), did both guys win 50 games, achieve 3 seeds, and make the 2nd round - so they were both good at carrying bad teams by their 3rd seasons, not before.

In their 4th season (07' and 89'), the champs swept lebron in the Finals, but took 6 games to beat MJ in ecf.. from the 5th season onwards, lebron lost 6 times with the 1 or 2 seed, versus MJ's zero (6/6) - mj is the only top 10 player that is undefeated as the 1 or 2 seed (the most unbeatable, aka goat)

07 was actually a down year for Lebron. He was better in 06.

.

maybe that's why the 04/05 Cavs were too crappy to make the playoffs even with Lebron's 07' production level:

05' LBJ:. 27/7/7.. 55.4 ts.. 25.7 PER.. 0.203 ws/48.. 8.3 bpm.. 8.8 vorp.. 9 seed, lottery
07' LBJ:. 27/7/6.. 55.2 ts.. 24.5 PER.. 0.206 ws/48.. 7.4 bpm.. 7.6 vorp.. 2 seed, Finals

So it's false that lebron can carry any team to the playoffs, since the lottery 05 Cavs were getting better than lebron's Finals run production..

those Cavs simply needed personnel additions and a coaching change to make the 06/07 playoffs with lebron's 27/7/7 approach.. it's just another reason that there's no reason to give young lebron a pass for his 9 seeds as if he isn't capable of those teams, while knocking young MJ for his 8 seeds... BOTH guys were crappy backpackers in their first couple seasons (couldn't carry shit and got low seeds)

Then he got a bunch of all stars and kept on losing in the finals anyway.
