It would appear that he doesn't since he got the title for Cleveland. What's the next narrative going to be for him?

Yes. Kobe stans are just itching to return if he loses next year.

it's all about ring count and all time total stats for him at this point.

Of course he does.
One more finals loss and only West and Baylor among the all time greats will have more finals losses with 8. Plus a sub-500 finals record while playing in a historically sh*t Leastern Conference and changing teams twice before the age of 31 isn't something to be proud of.

I should have clarified, I want unbiased opinions only in this thread. I don't have time for this kind of garbage.

31.
But 1 account, barely a post per day.
How many accounts per day/total across all your multiple alts before the age of 25?

Yeah, every player does the moment they step on the court
But as far as legacy pressure? His legacy is all but confirmed now. He could never play again, or lose every year until he retires, and his legacy would still be set in stone. What just happened... It rectifies everything and anything that diminished LeBron's story. It was the ultimate accomplishment for an individual... We all know the context.. What it meant. He could never touch a basketball again and he'd be the hero of Cleveland, a top 5 player of all time and arguably top 3.
From here on it's just mustard on the hotdog

From here on it's just mustard on the hotdogYeah I think his status as a top 4 player all time is etched in stone.
He can, however, try to make an even stronger case for top 2 goat as he keeps racking up titles, mvps, and shattering numbers.

If he wants to be the GOAT then there is, apart from that not so much

Winning one is great.
But winning two puts you up there with only like 10 teams ever. To put Cleveland into that 10 would be amazing and that's probably what Lebron's new goal is. To put the Cavaliers in the same breathe as the Lakers, Heat, and Spurs.

He won't be able to catch Jordan anyway, and he's already the 2nd best perimeter player ever, so not much left to do.
Sure an extra title or two would be nice, but the pressure is a lot less now.

Pretty much...

I don't think he'll catch Jordan even in MVP's let alone FMVP's, so I think GOAT is out of reach for LeBron. The rest of his career is house money though, he really has nothing else to prove. He can buff up his resume the next 5 or so years so he can have an argument against literally every other player in history not named Jordan

Nope.
Only the trolls will rag on him. In the real world, he has shed everything bad about him.

Despite the fantastic victory over GSW he still has a ways to go if he wants to be GOAT
Plus he has multiple Finals loses and other hits to his career that MJ doesn't have
And I doubt he will reach MJ in terms of accolades and he won't ever reach him in terms of impact

What if he's satisfied being remembered as a top 2-3 player. What if gives up the MJ chase and focuses on having fun the rest of the way. Playing with buddies. Becoming the playoffs all time leading scorer as well as 2 in assists and top 5 in rebounding?
In the finals, his goal could be to become the 2nd all time top scorer there. In the regular season, he could aim for 33k pts, 8.5k rpg and 8.5 k apg.

Pretty much where I am with it.
The perfection of Jordan's career arc will never be attained by anyone, imo ... definitely no one in today's NBA, at least. LeBron's legacy is now firmly in place and it puts him amongst the 5-10 greatest players of all-time. I guess he could move around on that list a little depending upon how things shake out over the last 5-10 years of his career, but there isn't a bunch of room left for him to go up or down that list.
He could get as high as #2 for me ... and he's probably already in my Top 8. :confusedshrug:
His legacy was basically solidified by coming back here and doing what he did.

No.
Other than Jordan...there just simply isn't anything real enough in terms of career to definitively say anything now imo.
And this coming from someone that really has been hard on Lebron for his lack of range shooting that I think has cost himself and his team in big ways throughout his career.
He's just been able to now accomplish enough and find it enough to do something historic.
Nothing else can really be said unless we are comparing him to MJ. Anyone else in history now, imo, he's as good or better than or on that tier at least.
So...no...no pressure...unless he wants to be GOAT. And that will take another 7 or so great years.....and who knows...maybe he can do it.
