The series that won a championship against a 73 win team

Kobe's is more memoriable. Cavs were up against an injury riddled team, they were supposed to win. A 37 year old dropping 60 is unheard of.

Hard to compare winning a championship for the first time ever (Cavs). Lebron's finals for basketball fans. Kobe's last game for Lakers fans. Both were incredibly important to different groups of people for different reasons.

I agree. Bron did some work but let's not forget he was out there throwing up a big miss in that Mavs series with a stacked team himself. Kobes performance was just inspiring. Bran kinda just bulldozed himself to great stats with Kyrie being the one that actually made the big shots etc

50 shots :oldlol: The whole game was about him, as was the season for him with his little announcement back in December or whatever. Good riddance.
Meanwhile, Duncan and Garnett had no farewell tour. I can see why a respectable person like Duncan laughed at Kobe when the media asked him what it would be like to face Kobe for the last time in the last Spurs vs Lakers game this season.

50 shots against a terrible team that felt pity for him. :oldlol:
Probably the most cringeworthy exit I've seen from someone. Even Zidanes headbutt was more respectable
LeBron's finals was the greatest series in basketball history. Kobe's last game was just another eye-rolling example of why he's the biggest cancer and most overrated player ever, a 30% shooter on the season taking 50 shots. :lol :facepalm :oldlol:

Know what else is unheard of? Someone shooting 50 field goals at any age
The answer is obviously and unequivocally the finals

Only Kobestans could possibly suggest that a meaningless game between two teams that missed the playoffs was in any way comparable to the best Finals performance in the history of the game.
Congrats Kobestans, you have officially jumped the shark.

Kobe's last game was an embarrassment. 50 shots, like 6/19 from three or something like that. Beating a sorry team. You can't even say Kobe's was more memorable. The finals was the higher rated game, made history and brought a title to Cleveland for the first time in decades

Kobe's game was a lot better but LeBrons meant more in the grand scheme of things. Slight edge to Lebron.

I've known since it happened that Kobe's final game would be the most overrated game of all time. Seems I was right.

What happened in Kobe's game? Did he shoot 49% or above?

What happened in Kobe's last game?
The other team didn't play defense against him. Sat there and watched him take un-contested shot after un-contested shot.
It was like a giant pity party. Players felt bad cause he lead this team to their worst season in franchise history in his last year in the league.

So why is this a thread?

This message board is a joke. One silly game that meant nothing vs winning a ring for Cleveland and coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the best team in the league with record of most win.
What a joke. Are you Lebron haters really this pathetic? Holy shit.

As someone who has loved Kobe since he threw the lob to Shaq, I will say that his final game was the most fabricated thing ever. It truly did not feel like an NBA game was being played.
Utah was knocked out of playoff contention earlier in that day, which gave them 0 motivation to even try to ruin Kobe's final game. It would have been something if they were fighting to make the playoffs and Kobe was able to stop that from happening. Obviously in this situation he wouldn't score 60, but maybe like 25 on good efficiency (if it were even possible at that point) and a well rounded stat line would have been great to see.
I guess this means Bron's performance wins by default but I do truly believe Kyrie was the real FMVP. Bron filled the stat sheet like all of his fans love, and that's great, it really shows his dominance in all areas of the game. However, in crunch time, Kyrie's scoring ability really put them over the top when Bron wasn't always there. Even co-fmvp would have been acceptable, I just feel Kyrie isn't receiving the credit he is due, and should be credited the same amount if not more for the Cavs finally winning a chip.

Kobe's, by far.
This isn't even his era and he's still throwing up historic/legendary performances that will be remembered for a long time.
I'm not gonna' overpraise LeBron for doing what a supposed "GOAT/Next MJ/Top 3" SHOULD be doing: Which is NOT falling to 2-5 in the Finals and letting a one-dimensional midget overtake him as the best player in the league.

No you didn't. You thought about him all finals, and he will continue to dominate your thoughts even in your idols moment of triumph.
And you know this, which is why you replied to this thread. :D  :lol

Kobe has been retired since April 2016 yet still receives the same amount of attention on this board as Lebron even tho the Cavs just won their first ring.
Let that sink in.
