Great video. Thank you Tank Commander Scott. You truly were an incompetent coach. Playing Hibbert, Sacre and Kelly over Black. Taking Druss out of games just as he started to get in a grove. Giving Kobe the green light to chuck all game long and yanking everyone else for a few bad plays.
Start of a new and bright era for Lakers.

Excellent video for those who think that Byron Scott wasn't an issue, or at least, a part of it.

Lakers FO isn't stupid. They kept Byron around to tank while Kobe got his proper send-off.
Byron was done as a coach a long time ago, and no team will ever consider him for a HC position ever again.
Russell probably benefits the most from it. Dude was about to explode but Byron wasn't having it.

Lol didn't really pay attention to the Lakers much these past few seasons..didn't realize how awful he was.
At least with D'Antoni they had the potential to be a somewhat entertaining run up and down young team.

I mean, looking back on the video, it's funny now....
While it was happening it was beyond frustrating with the added stress of not knowing our draft situation. :banghead:
I'm happy it all worked out in the end. Happy with the new coach and the players we have. I just want a team I can root for again. Totally willing to wait several years for a playoff spot if it means we got to do it with our home grown.
Asiantastic

I never understood the hire in the first place. There were so many better coaches available.
The past 2 years have been brutal and have seriously stunted the growth of our young players. Thank god Scott is gone.

No one should hire this guy to be a head coach any time soon.

Too bad the video got removed... wished to see it... still got fond memories of Byron's coaching in Cleveland... dude wanted to draft Waiters and then he puts him in his famous doghouse most of the time :facepalm
