I'm taking in modern basketball. Can it be done?

Magic wasn't even voted FMVP, Kareem was. But the NBA rigged the voting because Kareem wasn't in the building due to injury.

It can. You just need a generational talent who didn't go one-and-done on the right team. Tim Duncan for instance.

Are you implying the NBA is capable of rigging certain situations to benefit them as an organization, all the while inflating individual accomplishments to make specific players storylines more marketable when they succeed, to the unbeknownst masses?

Is that what you are implying, sir?

Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy believes that the league decided to suspend Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a better chance to extend the NBA Finals.

Green didn't get suspended during the OKC series because he did NOT have enough flagrant points.

Also, it wasn't someone "believing" that the league did something. The guy who was "pressured" is stating a fact. Not an opinion.

Hold this eternal L, loser.

bran stans, just hold the L. :lol

yeah you need a team thats already pretty good and lucked out in the draft due to good trades that set them up for a high lotto pick. Sort of like my celtics this year but its a shame we couldnt have got a top two pick. we werent solid enough already anyway.

Not likely because rookies are so young. The best talent are one and done guys, and most of them are picked by bad teams. Tim Duncan was the last rookie that may have been able to do it, but he played 4 years of college.

Rookies win Championships all the time.

Darko got his Championship. Just this year, Jordan McCrae won a championship. But FMVP? Nah. Just doesn't work like that any more.
