No one to blame but himself

Johnson made the choice for the Miami life and getting more playing time versus a better chance at winning a championship.

Who knows what would've happened had Bosh been healthy.

If he shot 13% from beyond the arc in the finals like he did in the ECSF, there's a good chance he still wouldn't be an champion. In fact, he just bricked another wide open 3.

I'm glad he didn't come to Cleveland. He lacks the heart of a champion. Doesn't have the drive to be a champ and instead wants more money and sunshine. He got what he deserves: a second round exit .dahntay Jones was better for the cavs , anyway. Brought a toughness and swagger. Best cheerleader on the team along with mozzy

Dahntay actually contributed in G6. When everyone else was in foul trouble he scored 5 points in 4:37.

Would they have won without that? Likely, but he still earned his ring.

Brings back memories of Marcus Camby signing with the Knicks instead of Miami and missing a ring.

Wonder what kind of playing time he would have got. I think he would have taken most of RJ's minutes.

thays why it's a blessing he went to Miami instead. RJ was the 4th most important player on the team after Bron, Irving, and TT. Johnson might be a better player, but RJ did all the little things it takes to win.

If he had signed with Cleveland, they wouldn't have won.

Kinda like when The Second Round Virgin derailed the Spurs title in 2013. No way Ray Allen hits that shot if they had Luc Mbah Moute or some rando other than T-Mac.

If I recall correctly, signing Johnson was our priority... that means we wouldn't have signed Channing Frye who stepped up BIG TIME in the playoffs... so for the Cavs, it all worked out... for Johnson not so much

You don't. JJ was bought out AFTER the trade deadline. So Frye was already on the team.

I think iso joe cared more about money than winning. He felt that he would get significant playing time with the heat in the playoffs, and that if he played well, he could get paid more. With tHe cavs, he was gonna get 15 mins/ game max. Fewer opportunities to show off his skills.

Yeah dunno why I forgot that we traded for Channing beforehand... propably got confused about the speculation before the trade that Johnson will sign with the Heat after his buyout
