Game 1 looked pretty solid. What do you guys think? Johnson was clearly the best player on the court. Lorenzo Brown seems like he has a chance to stick around. Ellenson still needs some development time it seems. It seems clear that Gbinije is not a PG. He even admitted to feeling more comfortable playing off the ball. At 6'7" I thought it was odd the Pistons were thinking he could be a PG.

And on a side note what kinda sucks is Winslow probably had the best game of the day. He's going to forever get compared to Johnson since the Pistons passed on him. Also, isn't it kinda funny to see Summers out there still dominating the summer league lol? He was always so good in summer league and got our hopes up. Once the season came around he just couldn't get it done.

Loved how Stanley looked ultra confident and almost arrogant out there - he knew he was by far the best player on the court,

I watched some of Winslow's game - I think Stanley played better personally, and I still really like our pick as I can not see Winslow playing SF long term, in which I can with Stanely. KCP and Stanley on our wings excites me when thinking about how our defense could look in a year or two.

I'll give you that. I think Winslow is more of a Wade replacement eventually who can play the 3 somtimes too. I wasn't 2nd guessing our pick either. I still really like Johnson. I kinda have a feeling KCP might walk when his contract is up though.

What gives you that impression?? ^^

I feel like he loves the city and the fan base, I think he has really bought into Pistons basketball and can see us moving in the right direction.

He is the one guy I have always felt actually wanted to be here on this team,

I think other teams are going to throw some pretty major money at him. There's a lack of good SG's in the NBA. I think he'll want to be on a team that can contend. The Pistons just aren't there. I also think SVG may not view him as a "core" player. He might think they can slide someone else in at that spot for less money.
