Fellow Mambites,

Kawhi Leonard is in fact the true successor of the Black Mamba, not Steph Curry. Steph was in truth nothing but a false messiah and you cannot be blamed for being seduced by the hype.

Kawhi Leonard however is the true carrier of the Mamba's legacy in the NBA today. Kawhi, like Kobe is a true gym rat and student of the game. Also like prime Kobe, Kawhi is a defensive player of the year level defender AS WELL AS A POTENT OFFENSIVE THREAT.

Both are also clutch legends.

Curry stans before you argue, let me ask you these two questions:

How many Finals MVPs does Steph Curry have?

How many Finals MVPs does Kawhi Leonard have?

Mamba fans I plead with you. Abandon the Golden Calf that is Steph Curry.

Actually, being carried to your first few rings and not winning FMVP sounds more like the successor to Kobe

Welp, he's got the mid-30% shooting in six of his last nine playoff games, so he's certainly on his way.

Edit: actually never mind, forgot the first round this year. Still. Countless times of late.

This thread is just straight up embarrassing. If any Kobe stans still have some dignity left in them, they will avoid it like the plague.

Kawhi is the true prophet. We still need an SF to fill our starting lineup. Kawhi is going to be that dude and come to LAL after D'Angelo and Ingram have a few baller seasons.

Avoid the false prophet Curry.

Kawhi is the baller that was promised.

He is the new Chosen One.

The spirit of the Mamba himself flows through his veins.

3'Angelo will get Kawhi a ton of open looks, and the Kawhi/Ingram pick and roll will be unstoppable.
