I'm not interested in learning all the terms myself, much less how to figure out exactly which category each person is in. But in my limited experience just being generally civil works. We don't have to walk up to every peson we see and say, "You're a bigender demi-boy, right?" 99.999% of the time you don't have to talk to them at all.
