"The Mavericks reportedly plan to offer Hassan Whiteside a max contract as soon as free agency officially begins.

He hopes to pick his next team soon after.

Lakers are extremely young right now and still have issues with Nick Young and D'Angelo Russell being on the team with what happened to them. I don't think anyone would want to play for them because of that. Everyone called it after the incident that no one credible would want to sign there until they do a complete team overhaul and probably moved Russell. So far that's playing out true.
