Nothing.
Its a regular season record in 2016, where the regular season doesn't matter and half the league takes a vacation until the last week.
I'm not impressed in the least by their win total. They don't come near that 20 years ago.

The fastest runners when I was in the military were heavy smokers...
I'm talking, 16-min 3 mile runs, looked like they were jogging.

It means that there is a massive difference between the regular season and the playoffs... even bigger than people realized. The regular season is such a marathon that there is virtually no chance to gameplan or have in-depth film sessions on an opponent. You basically just fly around the country and do your best.
Maybe you fit in a practice or a day off here or there, but it is a grind. The Warriors play such a unique style of basketball, there is just no way to properly prepare for it with so many other games to worry about.
The playoffs are almost like a different game completely, at least for the elite teams in the league. It becomes all about matchups and what adjustments can be made to negate or limit advantages.
The Warriors lost 9 in 82 regular season games and then 9 in 24 playoff games.
