well damn guys are getting signed left and right. Looks like everyone will be going after Horford and Conley now. Best sf besides Durant(think he's staying in OKC) is likely Barnes not great there.

if Bosh can be healthy next year they'll have a decent team on condition Wade re signs this week.

the core is getting old tho the Heat could implode mid season if they come in the season with a short rotation they need more wingpower

Awesome. Keep the young core of Winslow, JRich, and Whiteside together. They are the future of the franchise (assuming Winslow and JRich pan out).

Per @ByTimReynolds: Whiteside’s Heat contract will be for max, which at $94.4M salary cap would start at $22.2M and total $98.6M over 4 yrs

Heavily agree - Bosh especially, his condition is not going to really get better from my understanding of it. The symptoms basically go away for some time where he's cleared but he's a time bomb with all the added exertion from playing bball. Anyhow a clot reappears and get stuck in his lungs again, it can be fatal.

I think we have a meeting with Jamal Crawford, who is a good bench pickup for us if he agrees to leave LAC. Likely resigning UD, Joe Johnson, Amare, Gerald Green. Would take shots at guys like Jeff Green or David Lee for the PF spot.

Whiteside/Amare
Bosh/UD/Green or Lee
JJ/Winslow/Crawford
Wade/Gerald Green/Crawford
Dragon/Richardson/TJ

It's a descent squad - and likely gets us to the mid-playoff seed again. Need to be pretty healthy right through (including Bosh) to make it a true challenge in taking down the Cavs.

Now let's get Bosh healthy and we're good. Of course I'm still hoping we resign Chalmers :D

This is like the 4th offseason in a row Dallas has gotten f.ucked

why? Because getting another 8th seed/first round exit would have helped?

Dirk shouldnt take this shit.. go to GSW.

Heat are in a weird situation. They played better with a faster PF (Deng) but are paying Bosh and will prob lose Deng.

They could use an upgrade at the SF position. Durant would be sick. Winslow could slot in to replace Deng but his shooting needs work.

If they had Whiteside last year they would have been a lock for ECF.
