Why on earth would that put the issue to bed? Does anyone in the WORLD believe there is a soul alive that knows his birthdate? Since no one knows, its all about who picked the date. We know he was a Jr in HS when he got this passport and Ed Smith was involved in shaping his future at that time. Getting someone to rubber stamp a birthdate when none is available isn't difficult. Its also highly suspicious that a JR would claim to be 12.

No they are not. They simply use the birth date from Africa. The problem is, where he is from in Africa, your age typically begins when you register for school, and usually not when you are born.
Thus, most African born (from most countries in Africa) players are 5-6 years older than their passports state, regardless of whether they have an Australian passport or not.
This is common knowledge, and it's amazing that it's even a debate to some people, since this is just basic knowledge.
