Jefferson needs to fire his agent. He could have got $100 mil a year given what other guys are getting.

Great signing by the Pacers.

Very, very solid signing. Would be even more solid if Vogel was still the coach. Nonetheless, Indy is looking nice.

He's incredibly overrated (perhaps even the most overrated player in the league), but that's quite reasonable considering the other contracts that have been signed this week.

Yeah, that's the thing. If Vogel were still coach, I assume you'd be ecstatic with the signing.

FA is weird. He could have got alot more given what everybody else is getting. Not even like Indiana is a title contender or something.

Great deal for the pacers.

Not the best fit...but at that paper this was a no brainer. He absolutely will feast on some eastern teams and will help them win some games on his own when he gets hot.

Pacers and Knicks both have gotten better. East should at least be fun to watch next season.

His game won't decline at all. he's been slow with no defense since he was 18 lol

Don't like the fit. Can't complain at that price though.

I'm wondering if Al Jeff doesn't have a medical issue we don't know about. He may be limited to 20ish minutes.

Definitely, he would utilize him, probably start him. I can't see us bringing him off the bench at all though.

Which is why he's so overrated...especially considering his efficiency is garbage for all this talk about his post game. He's one of the 2 or 3 most overrated players in the league.

I think Al wanted to finish his career with a solid franchise...
Whether he likes the slums of downtown Indy will remain to be seen .

Why Lawson? He was garbage all last season. I suppose he played better after going to the Pacers though.

I'd count on Ellis getting traded cause he doesn't fit in that lineup. They get a combo guard in Teague so Ellis is needed for what exactly with touches for George and Big Al?

If I was Pacers I'd play Turner on PF, trade Ellis for a 3 and d guy, in fact package Ellis and Jordan Hill for a good 3 and D guy. They don't need Hill with Mahinmi.

Indy has a lot of versatility with Al on board, they can go huge or run with George at PF like last season. I expect to see ellis go for some knockdown shooters or some defenders. Bird has a lot of options to go to, doing fantastic so far.

Mozgov's bigger, he's a better defender, they're both equally slow, very similar on offense, Mozgov is probably even a better passer too.
The difference is Jefferson has a bigger role, Mozgov given the minutes and the shots will easily put up the same stats.

Mozgov took a major step back this last season though. I really didn't watch Cleveland hardly at all until the finals, what was the reason for that?

he didn't get much playing time too.
For some players it's extremely hard to get into a rhythm when one game they played 20 minutes and other game they sit completely.

He was garbage because he had knee surgery. It had nothing to do with lack of minutes. He use to start.

The problem is that hes 30. So him returning to form from injury shouldnt be expected anymore. But if he does, Mozgov is a good player.

1-8 is solid. Not sure if J.Hill or Lawson comes back. But most definitely Jefferson will be coming off the bench. In no way is he cutting into Myles Turner's minutes. He's the second most important player on the team. Maybe already the second best. But Jefferson is a great pickup. And obviously I'm trying to talk the Monta for Gay trade into existence. I really think Indy is the two seed in the east this coming season .

Go Bird. :pimp:

It's a great lineup, should be a fun team to watch.

Having Joe Young and Luke Wolters as developing guards doesn't hurt either.

Niang was an interesting pickup for them as well, but I love their starting lineup, I think once they develop some chemistry with Teague, it's going to be sick. Jefferson off the bench would be for the best, as their starting lineup is going to be a lot of running and gunning.

Is Jefferson's agent a crackhead he found on the streets of Charlotte? He should fire whomever is representing him since they clearly have no idea what to do.
