Think of all the money he's going to miss out on the next 4-5 years with these ridiculous contracts?

Dude is watching scrubs like Batum, Beal, Parsons earn more than he did HIS ENTIRE CAREER

If Wade was only 4-5 years younger, he would have easily made an extra $200 M over his career.

Dude is missing out on that good life

Hold this L, Wade :oldlol:

Umm, Li Ning is only paying him $10M a year. Thats less than Delly's salary

Besides half of that goes to all his baby momas as child support payments :confusedshrug:

If you had a choice of a $10M a year Li Ning contract, or 10 prime years of max contracts in today's NBA, what would you pick?

Obvious is obvious - reality is he was paid close to max and signed a descent shoe deal to settle his salary woes

We can play the if game all day long - Shaq, MJ, TD, Kobe, etc would all love to be in their prime today lol

Almost anyone in the world...once you hit like 30 or 32...you start wishing you were 5 years younger for a variety of reasons.

It's not just athletes.

I'm pretty sure Wade's shoe deal also came with some sort of stake in the company. I know when he signed the deal it was reported that it could eventually net him close to a billion dollars (long-term obviously). He's probably making pretty good coin from Gatorade too. Most superstar athletes make as much if not more money from outside endeavors as they do from their playing contracts, especially highly marketable ones like Wade. I don't think he'll be getting food stamps any time soon.

But this is the PERFECT time to make money for NBA players

Yea sure when you're 30 you wish you were 25 so you could do things (travel, change careers etc)

But in todays NBA, being older means you lose out on another $200M

Theres a difference in wishing you were younger for the sake of it, and literally losing out on another $200M due to age :confusedshrug:

one million dollars is enough to live comfortably for the rest of your life.
With how much Wade has earned, he's gonna live luxuriously and many generations after him could so too.
