Between Mozgov and Dellavedova, that's $102 million doled out to the end of the Cavaliers' bench  :facepalm
and then you tell me lebron was the underdog :lol  :D

not a good way to look at Cav's scenario. believe me you guys will pay to get those replacements . questions is if the replacements will be better or worst players

The 2014 Brooklyn Nets paid the highest luxury tax in NBA history. It's pretty well established that salary size and winning aren't mutually exclusive.

I agree. But the cavs need to replace those players right? After all these large contracts beeing thrown around i doubt a player would want to get a darn paycut

Lebron made them Champions by sitting on the bench and triple their worth. Afterall how many player could say they played with a top3 all time player? That winning experience's gotta worth something.

winning experience does not feed once family. Not saying it can"t happen but with these large contracts beeing thrown around greed would kick in

They are easily replaceable. LeBron turned garbages into treasures. I hope they sign Hibbert, and develop Kay Felder into a solid backup point guard.

Mozgov was finished for the Cavs. Delly will be missed. He was giving better minutes than Kyrie for alot of last year including the postseason.
Obviously the finals showed who was the better player though.

I'll sign Hibbert for a short term contract. His value is kinda low right now. Felder is just a rookie.
Cavs paid 2 millions just to acquired his draft rights.

Why do you think the Lakers gave up on Hibbert? have no idea on Felder

Mozgov I knew was gone. He no longer fit in with this team and the direction it is headed from a chemistry standpoint. The Cavs do need to add a legit 7-foot center, but Mozgov wasn't going to be that guy. I think they'll find a way to eventually add Koufos. They've been too high on him for too long, the Kings are making it obvious that they'd move him, and we have lots of trade exceptions ($11+ million) to play with.
To me, that would be a step up. Koufos is an equal rim protector and defender and a better passer. Not as good a screener, which is important, but Mozgov is trending downward and fast.
Delly was a little tougher for me. I was surprised the Cavs didn't match the offer sheet and it seems like they're not going to. While he was useless in The Finals and was pretty bad for most of the playoffs, he had a good regular season and has been a great piece off the bench for the last two years. I thought he was maybe worth $8+ million a year based on these ridiculous contracts being thrown around today.
What that tells me is the Cavs have a lot of confidence in being able to develop Kay Felder. I love his game in the film that I've watched so far. He's a lot like Isaiah Thomas was coming out of college. Very productive, but overlooked due to the competition. I will note though that Kay single-handedly took Michigan State to overtime in East Lansing and nearly pulled it out... playing for Oakland College.
I think they found a diamond in the rough and that's a big reason Delly is probably gone.

I do think the Cavs need to add a PG just in case. Kirk Hinrich comes to mind. A vet, probably vet mininum, can ride the bench, teach young guys.
