They were smart enough to spend it all in the previous off-season.

They new how to use the new cap space wisely, and now they won't be hurting having to over pay everyone like every other team is doing.

These past 2 years alone have me dislike an entire franchise,my our excuses are pathetic.
You lost, get over it.

They dont have any cap space. After they resign LeBron they'll be over it again and be in repeater tax. And they'll be even more over it if they resign J.R. for more (which he deserves) and Jefferson. The only thing we have are some trade exceptions and MLE.

I probably worded that poorly.
I meant that in the since that Kyrie/Love/TT/Shump all have much more reasonable contracts than the players have been getting the past few days because the Cavs went into the luxury to spend less now.

When you have Lebron, you have luxury to pay. Cavs are making way money from ticket prices then ever, considering they are lock to go far in playoffs too.

http://www.statista.com/statistics/196709/revenue-of-the-cleveland-cavaliers-since-2006/

Look at the jump in revenue, in 13-14 at 149 million.Then in 14 - 15 at 191.

The cavs paying more would be problematic, when their team stops winning .. and if when Lebron leaves.

This is why maybe NBA should fix the max contract thing, because a player like Lebron is worth no less then 75 million.
