East were weak since early 90's . First time they have chance for known as solid .
Celtics #1 ( or 2 , it changes with choice of Durant )
Cavs #2 ( Continue the contend )
Raptors #3 ( they will much better than last year )
Pacers #4 ( they have great rotation with large talent pool on the roster )
Hawks #5 ( Millsap-Howard duo at the rim , lock for top 3-4 defence )
Wizards #6 ( It's time to show real game by Wall/Beal )
Pistons #7 ( Solid potential Team with young core )
Bucks #8 ( They have shooters right now , feer the deer ! :p )

The east was the stronger conference in the early to mid 90's. As usual, you have no idea what you're talking about.
It was also stronger from 2008-1012 and especially the 3 year stretch when Cleveland, Orlando and Boston were killing each other in the east and the Lakers were going through powder puff marshmallow teams to make it out of the west.

If it was not for Derrick Rose's injury and Paul George's injury the East would not be a cake walk.
This year the Pacers, Celtics, and Knicks will be better. They will be in contention with the Cavaliers and Raptors.
Miami is losing a lot of talent (Tyler Johnson, Luol Deng, Bosh is questionable, Joe Johnson). I just don't see them being a contender this year..... for now.
