LeBron gave up on his team and joined Miami.
Durant gave up on his team and joined GSW.

In both cases, had they won, it would have made it difficult for them to leave.

Just what the topic says. They both choked so they could leave their teams and join a super team. It doesn't matter if the super team is new or already established.

Curry choked in the same way as LeBron and Durant, but didn't leave his team. It makes it more low-key.
