Let's not forget in the summer of 2010, Lebron, Wade and Bosh, three superstar players in their primes colluded to form a superteam in Miami. This move was and still is unprecedented in league history. They had ruined all competition in the East and would go on to cakewalk to 4 straight NBA Finals.

People need to stop with the revisionist history. At the time in the East neither Miami or Toronto were relevant teams and the East was stronger than the West was. Outside of the Lakers who just squeaked out a Game 7 win vs Boston.

Whats Hypocrite is to say Lebron Needs More Help and a 73 wins teams adds an MVP to the guy who dethrone him from it.

i really doubt the 2010 Heat team was comparable to 2016 Warriors team.... KD basically hopped on the team he felt was the closest to reaching the ring. Warriors has an absolutely unfair lineup right now

If anything OP, you are the hypocrite. You were outraged then so where is the outrage now when kd joins a team that JUST beat him in the conference finals, that won the title the year before without him and that won 73 games and went 7 in the finals this year.

This.

LeBron - 2nd option Mo Williams. Joins a 47 win Miami team.

Durant - Plays with Russell ****ing Westbrook. Up 3-1 in the WCF against the team he's now joining. :oldlol:

LeBron went to a 47 win team with a one proven winner, an all-star that won 3 playoff games in 7 seasons, and no bench at all to speak off. This f.aggot went to a team that won 73 games, and had the unanimous MVP. And the only reason they lose to GS was because he choked lmao

Its not the same but.....its so similar. You cant be mad at lebron for going to the heat to win but be mad at kd for doing the same thing.

Bron is going to be the greatest player of all time when he beats the Warriors again in the finals.

Leaving your home team to join another team you've never played in the playoffs before, with one top 5 player and another top 10-15.

Vs.

Jumping to the team that just beat you in the playoffs a year ago when you choked away a 3-1 lead. A team that already has 3 All-Stars (Possible 3 top ten players), a FMVP, numerous DPOY and 6th man candidates who just had the greatest regular season record of all-time.

Bigtime hypocrites and frauds. Wilbon just made the point that LD didn't have to conspire to form his super team. Both moves are sissy basketball though

You took 3 players who were the best on their respective teams by far and you put them on 1 roster. Really not much difference, eitherway you're stacking rosters. LeBron started this shit, Durant is just following in his footsteps and some other superstar will do this after Durant as well.

I honestly hate LeBrick but what Durant did suprasses him by far. It will be hard for anyone do make a worse BETA move. This guy clearly has no confidence and ambition. I hope some top guys sign for vet min to join cleveland to woop his ass , i cant belive i'm saying that.

This argument is such BS, he joined a 47 win team while making sure to group up with the best player from a third franchise as well. Durant is going to a team with the pieces already there, LeBron colluded to bring the pieces with him.

In the end there is no real difference, stacked super-teams eitherway.

Ray Allen, KG and Paul Pierce started this if you wanna play the "3 players who were the best on their team" game. Probably some other examples before that too that I can't think of off the top.

Here's how you can tell if you're a hypocrite...

KD loses to GSW in 7 games after choking a 3-1 lead. Joins GSW.

What if after losing to GSW in finals last season, LeBron joined GSW? Would you be like "that's fine. Legit move"

This is a 73 win team, who just came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Durant's Thunder. This is the biggest bitch move in the history of sports.

Actually no they didn't. There was no free agency stuff involved at all.

Danny Ainge had to make trades to make that Big Three happen....same as Red did with Bird/McHale/Parish. KG, Paul and Ray didn't get together to plan it all out. Danny Ainge had to beg Pierce to hang in there during a shit season, get a trade done for Ray Allen and then convince KG to sign an extension after giving up the farm for him.

Lebron joined Miami after Bosh signed, so he wasn't just joining the 2009-10 Miami Heat team. If it's going to make you sleep better at night, imagine the GSW without Green last season and pretend that he signed with the GSW this summer right before Durant. And let's not forget that the GSW will have to lose some players, mainly Barnes and at least one more key player.

Lebron and Wade were easily the two of the best 3 players in the East and Bosh was the best PF as the injuries and old age were catching up to Garnett. If you still don't think the two situations are comparable, then I suggest you find a different sport to follow because your biased hatred will make it unbearable for you as the GSW rain 3's on the entire league.

This. Lebron set the precedent. His stans crying about KD decision are hypocrites.

He set the precedent to join the team that is in his way to a ring? He set the precedent to join the best player (in some people's opinion) in the NBA? He set the precedent to have a team comprised of one-third of the USA Olympic team?

The Thunder were up 3-1 on the Warriors and then lost. So Durant decides to join them.

That's like LeBron joining Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen in Boston because he couldn't beat them. Except that Boston team didn't have the first unanimous MVP and they didn't set the record for the best regular season record in the history of the NBA. :facepalm

LeBron going back to Cleveland was nowhere near as bad as the decision especially considering Wade+Bosh>>>>>Kyrie+Love.

That said, certainly a lot of hypocrisy on this signing, on both sides

Both collided. Durant did something different though in that Miami had no bench it's first year. Bosh was no superstars it was basically wade and bron carrying heavy load. Lebron left a team that struggled to put talent together.

Durant had a squad in OKC. He had his wade but also several versatile big men and overall better team.

Golden state has 3 players that can go off for 40 points at any time consistently. Miami never had that. You have 3 shooters that can hit 6 7 3 pointers I'm the same game each.

If we ever needed further proof of the fact that LeBron IS Kobe fans' life, this is it. They've been bitching LeBron's "colluding" and "super teams" for more than half a decade now. KD goes on to do something a million times worse, and I don't see a single negative word uttered by any Kobe fan in here. They'll still be rooting harder for GSW next season than they've ever rooted for anything in their life. If anything, I bet they are thrilled about this move. LeBron's chances of losing just increased a great deal today, and that's all Kobe fans have ever cared about.

Honestly it diminishes the accomplishment of winning a championship. Curry being the 4th option on his team. Hilarious.

Lebron did not join Boston Celtics and Garnett, Pierce and Allen trio after they beat him. Surely he formed a better team for himself but the goal was still to beat the team which prevented him from winning a chip.

What did Durant do?

What a sad life of those people must be. Following basketball just for one purpose only and that's to see Lebron fail. Sad creatures.

Poor hypocrite stans. You almost feel sorry for them. :(
