You do know that Kyrie and Love didn't make the ASG this season, in the "weak" EC, right?

Klay's not starting over Westbrook or Paul, but they do have 4 bonafide all-star level players. Has that ever happened before? (I know Atlanta did it a couple of years ago but they were all off the bench - Curry and Durant will definitely start, and Draymond possibly too).

Great argument, Doranku. Here I was thinking that you are actually one of the better posters here.

3 of them wouldn't have made the ASG for sure in the EC. Look at the All-NBA teams. They'll have 4 players making the All-NBA teams next season and if Klay gets better defensively, 2 All-Def players as well. Not to mention an MVP and DPOY (most likely).

I wasn't saying they were for sure going to be all-stars next year, I just thought it was funny that the top team in each conference has 4 potential all-star starters in their starting lineups (at the same positions, no less).

Let's look at the players, shall we?

Curry > LeBron (RS)
LeBron >> Curry (PO's)

Klay >> Kyrie (RS)
Kyrie >> Klay (PO's)

Green >>> Love (RS)
Green >>> Love (PO's)

They basically had the same big 3's. The Warriors were significantly better in the RS and the Cavs were better in the PO's. The difference is, the Warriors were deeper and had better role-players. KD, next season, is going to be on a team with 4 All-NBA players (including himself). ASG selections are a sham, when you're comparing across conferences. WC obviously has significantly better talent. The Cavs, at best, will have 2 All-NBA players. KD is probably the 3rd best player in the world. It's not like he's just an All-Star.
