Ramendan or 4th of July???

Juz hit up my Muslim friend to see if he wanted to chill/hit the park up to celebrate the Dubs news and he told me he is doing Ramadan stuff with fam today.

Already pretty annoying he randomly doesn't eat food for a month (such an illogical custom) and now he has stopped celebrating the 4th.

I'm all for freedom, but religion sucks. Can't believe how much of the world still believes in these fairy tales.

Spirituality and connection to the world around us makes sense. Religion just takes advantage of or groupthink mentality as a species.

It's irksome the same way you'd feel if you saw a mom feeding her clearly obese 7 year old an ice cream bar. Society overall is worse off because of stuff like that. This nonsense is illogical and annoying (the fasting). I work with people that are Muslim and we all work in a team. It feels bad that they have to sit their not eating for lunch. In general, we usually eat at our desks all sitting together but in this month we usually eat out so it is easier for the Muslim guy. It's not a big deal but it's irksome.

If somebody was a fatty and you had to adjust your way of normalcy it'd irk you too.

I'm not blaming the individual. I just am tired of people doing stuff for religious reasons when the stuff they do is complete baloney (like fasting).

Please educate yourself. Name me another religion with such old world-like customs. Lumping all the other religions with this barbaric one is a mistake.

Fasting is an obligatory duty upon believers of Tawhid. A believer in Tawhid would fast if the 999 others around him wouldn't.

Do not make up ridiculous causes. The moment you forget God causes everything is the moment you slip into uttering falsehoods and conjecture produced by your inherently limited flawed intelligence, sundizz.

All religions are intended to elevate man's spirituality and unite man in the spirit of brotherhood. Islam especially as Ramadan IS THE MONTH to gain Taqwa. Prophet (PBUH) had a special warm relationship with all creation around him. There are religious people who have has a higher consciousness, love and gentlest towards the Earth than you and I will ever have by age 6 or earlier.

Thanks for the good intentions. But the highest intention is to please God alone. Don't project your lust on people who you don't understand.

But the devil whispers into the hearts of all of mankind's. All of mankind's. Thus an inner battle between the angelic forces and demonic forces wages in every man. And he is tricky. Switching cause and effect, trapping people into becoming prisoners of sin, taking people away from God, and destroying hope for the ones who have made mistakes.
