This. I believe everyone's offended. LeBron going to Miami only offended some fans outside of Cleveland and all Cleveland fans.

Durant leaving and joining a 73 win finals team that knocked him out while being up 3-1 is a hit to everyone.

Yeah, Cleveland had that long history of sports heartbreak, and were more passionate in supporting LeBron, a guy from that state, than Oklahoma fans are of Durant. I don't think too many people will be burning jerseys or feeling as betrayed or anything like that. LeBron is held to a high standard because of his insane talent, and had that awful ESPN special that just rubbed salt into the wound.

OKC fans will boo Durant, as will other fans, but Durant will not inspire the same hate or love that LeBron does. LeBron was and is still such a polarizing figure.

I wonder if OKC will trade Westbrook. People think he's most likely gone in 2017 once he is a free agent, so maybe the Thunder will try to trade him to try to get something out of him instead of him just leaving as a FA.
