Told emphatically by league source there's no chance Russell Westbrook will do a renegotiation/extension of his contract (one yr remaining).

Might as well trade RW now and start the rebuild.

He'll likely go to a contender, might go to the Lakers, but it'll be difficult for him to go to a losing team while Durant packs up championships. There's not too many teams that can stand a chance against the Warriors. For now really Warriors have no real threats. They already have the biggest odds in favor in NBA history 4 of 5.
