View Full Version : Are the Spurs our only hope in defeating GS?

Realistically, they're the only team in the league that can probably eliminate them in a 7 game series. I don't think Cleveland will have the ability to defeat them again.

We gotta hope all the veterans in the league join together in one last ditch to save the NBA. Dirk, Wade, Pau, and any other decent players need to join San Antonio ASAP. Form the god damn justice league or something

Sir Kawhi Leonard the prince that was promised

Spurs have a solid chance of beating GSW, and its no joking. The Spurs frontcourt is too good offensively, the only question is how their backcourt will defend, and the depth. Gregg Popovich is a better coach than Steve Kerr, so its totally possible.

If the Spurs got Conley, they would have been the best team, even over the so called durant superteam GSW.

Parker is just not a good starting point anymore. It's the biggest kryptonite of the team.

I'd still go with Cleveland. If love can become an offensive force like he was in Minny I'll take Kyrie, love, lebron and jr against curry, green, durrrrcant and Thompson with Tristan Thompson killing them on the boards again

I do have a feeling Duncan is about to come back better than last year. Must have been badly injured in the playoffs.

Lebron would need 7 rings. Can't go undefeated with 6 but can get one more. That would negate the losses, when compared to MJ.

Lebron beating the most stacked team in nba history 2 consecutive years is greater than any of Jordan's accomplishments period.

73-9 warriors is better than any team jordan faced in his nba career. and with this upcomming nba finals this new warriors team will even double that, If lebron wins he's the GOAT and there's not a damn thing you or anyone else can say to prove otherwise.

Deal with it.

I'd add the spurs teams from 2013-2014 also. Those were all time great teams and as good or better than any team mj faced in his six finals.

Magic's FMVP in 1979 as a rookie was unprecedented, and likely would never be matched in future. Lebron is a poor man's Magic, always was and always will be.

There is only a chance for GSW to lose it because their star players all are choking betas, who are mentally weak and piss their pants when the big moment comes. That's if you don't count Green as a star, but he has different problems. They might just get shook by Westbrook or LeBron bullying them.

I think LeBron can do it again. I think losing Bogut and some of that bench depth might come back to bite them in some way shape or form... Whether it be in the finals, or an injury to a starter

I seriously hope Cleveland keep JR and get Wade, and maybe a good Love trade for someone like Cousins...

The bottom line is, I feel like the Warriors still have one crucial weakness.... And OKC and Cleveland found it... Switch everything onto Curry

Durant is amazing, but he can just as easily be invisible like Curry was in the finals...

Make no mistake about it though. This is the toughest obstacle ever in NBA history

LeBron just conquered the impossible... But this is Mission Impossible 2. BIGGER. BADDER. TOUGHER.

I don't like adding Wade if it means giving up JR

I'm not sure where Wade's defense is at these days, but he can definitely cover Delly's loss and some

But yeah... Cuz is the best choice option... Perhaps if the Kings implode, they'll trade him mid season...

gotta hope the Cavs get off to some really bad start, and the Kings absolutely suck... then the two might get together to talk.

lol at the LBJ nut huggers gonna proclaim him best ever if he can beat a team without 1 player in the top 30 GOAT list.

Meanwhile Duncan retires the Shaq/Kobe (2x top 10 players) in 2003/4 by HIMSELF, and then retires the Super Heatle Collusion in 2014.

73-9 then losing in finals shows league sucks now and is overrated. bunch of scrub tanking teams. Remember warriors did play 21 games against east so that is 21 easy wins right there.
