Jordan beat the Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals, but they didn't have Kareem Abdul Jabbar.

I'm guessing maybe the 72-10 team but we gotta understand that they played vs weak expansion era teams and i think kareem would be too much for them to handle.

I always felt that the 1992 and 1993 Chicago Bulls team are the best Bulls teams of all time.

The 1991 Lakers weren't supposed to be in the finals (beat the superior Blazers) but they still had Magic, Worthy, Scott and Green from the Showtime Lakers. But the addition of Divac and Perkins gave them a very good front line. And MJ's Bulls totally DESTORYED this team.
I still think the 1987 Lakers are better than any Bulls team on paper. Most would have the 1996 Bulls and 1987 Lakers as a top 5 team all time so who really knows.

First 3 peat Bulls had peak MJ, Pip and Grant but the 1996 team had noticeably greater depth with Harper and Kukoc on top of their big 3. Against great teams, depth can make a big difference.

They could I think. I think all of the Bulls championship teams could beat the 80 and 82 Laker teams. Kareem would be the biggest mismatch. It would be interesting to see how the Bulls could contain Magic and Wilkes. Probably the same way as the 91 finals.
85 and 87 teams would be interesting tho.

Maybe the 87 - 88 Lakers. Any earlier and Kareem feasts on the stiffs the Bulls had at C.
