to stop KD and co from humiliating teams too badly? :confusedshrug:
I think as soon as the Warriors go up by 30 before half time the game should be called. If not things are going to get UGLY.
Man I can't wait for next seasons Finals. Either Lebron becomes the greatest of all time or KD gets his first ring and surpasses Kobe. Either way, I win :pimp:

I think they will canter to around 70 wins, whilst only playing durant and curry for about 30 mpg... they will then go 15-0 in the postseason. Probably be up 30 by half time in most games liek you say.

That is unless Lebron goes Super Saiyan 2, but after 6 consecutive finals he must be worn out.

Either Lebron becomes the greatest of all time or KD gets his first ring and surpasses Kobe. Either way, I win :pimp:If Lebron beats a healthy version of this Warrior's team, even I an MJ stan who grew up in Chicago will give him the mantle of GOAT(considering he has a similar finals performance to this year). But Durant's rings on this GSW team means little more than Robert Horry's in terms of individual legacy enhancements. I mean you guys talk about Shaq carrying Kobe... Durant just joined a team who won 73 and were championship favorites 2 seasons running.

People give Kobe credit for his first ring and he was poor in that... if GSW get to the finals, Durant will end up putting up like 30-5-5 on 65% ts, 20 years from now people won't care about his team as long as he puts up good stats.

People have Bill Russell as a top 5 GOAT even though he sucked on offence, because his stacked team won a lot of championships.

Dude played in the stone ages where modern stats weren't even kept, and footage of many great games unavailable to the public. Durant's games will be well documented, as well as the scrutiny he's received with his decision. In 20 years we can youtube or download any and all his important games. Even "tragic bronson" is well-documented(as well as him playing in a weak west) and used in debates of where he should place in the top 10 and that was with primitive 30 year old technology.

I guess we'll have to see. People compare this to the stacked 80's squads, but those were stacked squads going up against equally stacked squads. This is more akin to Shaq losing in 96 then joining the previous 72 win Bulls squad for the 97 season. It's something unprecedented.

i highly doubt he puts up 30-5-5 on this team.

The bolded is a stretch. :oldlol: Yes the Warriors are one of the best regular season teams ever, but we have all seen that Curry has developed a habit of wetting the bed on the biggest stage, hence 0/22. His weak Finals performance in 2015 didn't matter due to the Warriors playing decimated/D league teams in every round, but as soon as he had to face a little adversity in 2016 his lack of mental toughness led to the biggest choke in NBA Finals history.
If KD leads this team to a title it will be Golden State's first EARNED title.

They'll just rest their starters when they're up big and the benches will duke it out like usual.

we have all seen that Curry has developed a habit of wetting the bed on the biggest stage, hence 0/22.That's just the thing, even with your star player averaging like 3.5 assists (2 of those chest passes to contested 3's) on 4 turnovers while being a detriment on defense and shooting poorly, the Warriors took the Cavs to the Brink. And if Iggy and Bogut were healthy, they even win in spite of Curry. If he doesn't throw that pass straight to Lebron for the Kyrie and 1 on Green and subsequently behind the back pass it out of bounds, he may very well be hoisting his 2nd championship trophy. Durant is replacing Barnes, who was GS's worst and only truly bad role player besides Festus. It's a team that's already proven they can win without you, you're just going out there to put up some stats and look pretty. I'm not trying to say Durant's a scrub, but when you join a team with another superstar, a top 2 sg and a top 2 pf; along with 2 6th man of the year quality guys with like 4 or 5 guys on your bench who would start on most teams- how much of an impact can an individual truly make?

Bulls without MJ and Pipp- lottery, Celtics without Bird and McHale- lottery, Cavs without Bron and Kyrie- LOL, Warriors without Durant and Curry? 55+ wins and title contention.

I hope they gel well and go 98-0. I love watching dominating forces (MJ, Shaq).
