I have gotten almost as many angry texts/etc from team execs about GSW getting Zaza for nothing as I did re: GSW signing KD.

He is definitely better than Varegjao...and this move is largely just about having a big body that can knock the shit out of people and be in the right place.

Which Zaza can do very well.

It is a huge steal for them at 2.9 million or whatever it was. I'm not complaining...this is a better deal for zaza...he look incredible there and get a ton of exposure.

He is definitely good enough to play 20 minutes a game in the regular season and like 12 to 15 in the playoffs for them without killing them like Andy did.

Zaza was a monster the first half of last season. He either got injured, or just worn out, from playing too many minutes with the Mavs.
