I say Nets for right now. But the Kings are right there with them. No doubt in my mind they bungle the Cousins trade. OKC will be fine. They will hit on their draft picks. And than trade them for Jeremy Lamb and Kevin Martin before their prime.
The Sixers now that Hinkie has been fired.
They were on the right track, and the NBA knew it.

Sacto has to be the worst.
Even though I don't like the moves NY and Brooklyn have made I can at least understand them.
The Kings though? Holy **** what the hell is happening over there?

any trade for cousins will leave the kings in decent shape for the coming years.
dallas' future is looking bleak. treadmilling until dirk retires. then having maxed out barnes as your teams franchise player.... fun times ahead on the SS Cuban.

The thing is, the Kings have by far the worst ownership/management in the league. No idea why the NBA felt the need to keep a team there. They could have completely avoided the mess they have with the Queens

It was before Durant to go Beta.
Now it isn't nearly as bleak. It is actually looking like they may have a future.

Not the Kings, because we have Cousins and he's a pretty hefty commodity on the market
Brooklyn easy

Brooklyn is in a bad situation because they tried to win immediately with an old ass team that didn't pan out. They traded away their future/youth, but they'll recover in a few more years.
The Kings seem to be a toxic franchise and that can't be fixed unless they're sold.

It seems like things are changing a little... I think there was a little internal struggle between Vivek and the other owners
But so far this season we've been playing it very conservative
From our coach pick to our free agents and team staff/personnel
I hypothesize Vivek's power has been minimized by the other owners... I think
The papagiannis pick was a leap of faith by Vlade... Under the radar prospect.. I'm okay with that pick because Vlade decided to accumulate a nice spread of other first round picks

1. Kings
2. Kings
3. Kings.
Being a Browns fan I have a soft spot in my heart for them.

Nets by far. They got NO assets and aren't a desirable location (will change IF they start to build a winning culture).

Kings at least have a new building and lots of new money coming in.

Although they changed the management and seem to be making better decisions, I got go with the Nets. They have no picks in the foreseeable future and they don't have more than 5 good players. No great prospects either.
Even with the messed up front office Kings still have Cousins, so if they decide to trade him they could get good return and they have their picks.

Nets were played badly by the Celtics, the Kings on the other hand are constantly sabotaging their own team every year

I don't think it's us. The Pop Tree effect will kick in with Sean Marks and Atkinson en route to beating NYK to a chip one day. We have decent youth and it's not as if this is an era we'd ever be able to compete with prime LeBron or this new Golden Stacked team anyway.
I don't mind us sucking right now so long as the new regime has us headed in a direction and Prokhorov eases back and lets things take their natural course instead of breathing down the FO's neck to win now. Eventually we'll actual picks again (thanks Billy), and guys like RHJ can hopefully become something in this league. I think we have semi-decent young players who can become something. They could fall flat like Marshon Brooks too though.
You know, it's a tough choice because it depends on what "worst shape" means. Least likely to be competitive anytime soon? Least likely to win a title? I gotta agree that Sacramento is the worst because they seem to have absolutely no idea what they're doing at all.

Hornets - no franchise player, worst GM in the league
Nets - no franchise player, no draft picks
Hawks, Nuggets are next.

It's hard to say with the unprecedented increase in cap space. Suns have 50mil commited per year for the next three years to three below average stars (Chandler, Bledsoe, Knight). Sixers are without doubt the worst managed franchise, drafting the same positional player three times. It's the kind of talk that occupies water coolers in loony bins. They've second guessed themselves three years in a row, making no in-roads. Nets have no picks... so there's that. But the increased space in cap has the potential to wash away most, if not all, of these indiscretions. Hell, the Brook Lopez deal is starting to look palatable.

Marshon brooks:lol what ever happened to that guy??
The kings are a train wreck, no idea wtf they are doing.. They'll screw up the cousins trade guaranteed
Nets are pretty bad, but they're in the same boat as the Sixers and magic IMO.
Few decent pieces, nothing special but run by morons

Fair bit of decent young talent but needs a few seasons to grow and add some more pieces..

Miss the playoffs this season, but the young talent they have takes next step. I personally like Ingram a lot.
