The funny thing is...you know this is what Lebron wants. He's talked openly about playing with his best friends to end his career.

If you assume the only thing that matters is trying to build a team to beat the Warriors...which is a fair assumption at this point imo...Melo makes the Cavs better in that regard than Love does.

So trading Love for Melo is perfectly reasonable (although I'd make different trades...but assuming Lebron is trying to play with his friends)

I don't know the situation on getting enough room for Wade, but maybe they could if they shed Frye/Shump somehow and Lebron takes a huge cut? I don't know.

Then they could add CP3 in the off season next year in free agency I think given the cap increase and clever 1 year deal with opt outs next summer.
