The heat went on an impressive 27 game winning streak and ended up edging out a win over an all-time great spurs team.
do either one of them stand a chance vs the stacked warriors?
lebron even had his highlight agianst the warriors earlier that year.
Which team wins in a best of 7? which one is the better team overall?

If healthy, the Heat. If the Thunder almost beat them and the Cavs with worse d beat them, then Heat probably could.

The problem would be the rebounds. The Cavs had Thompson to get them key rebounds, but LeBron lead the team in that just like he did this year. If Curry played like he did in the 2016 Finals, then the Heat wins. The Heat are quicker to close out on the 3pt shooter and better at defending the picks with Bosh.

They also have a better 3pt shooting team than the Cavs. Although the Cavs went on a crazy run with JR Smith shooting the lights out, you still have Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Mike Miller (tho hardly played) and LeBron James was better with his jumper. Although, his jumper was off in the 2013 finals, and the Spurs sagged on him, he found out in the last two games.

I believe the Heat were better defensively, a better 3pt shooting team, and similar offensively than the Cavs 2016. Problem would be the second option with Wade. He won't put up Kyrie numbers that year. If healthy, he could give 20 with good d. The role players were better.

If the Heat aren't healthy, then I dunno.

Would be tough because Thompson is miles better in the intangibles and rebound department than bosh. Also would depend on wade's health.

Everyone in every thread forgetting how chit 2016 NBA finals Warriors were.

Curry, Thompson, Green played like bench players.

That GSW NBA finals team was equivalent to a Eastern conference 1st round exit team.

But no, lets talk them up because of the amazing regular season they had.

People underrate how well the Cavs played defensively...
