Tough medicine for the Wade nutthugers, but what has ISH to say outside of the stans?

@SportsLine says Denver wins 0.4 more games next season with Wade, Milwaukee wins 1.5.

Lol.

Now tell me how many wins would Mozgov, Turner, Batum etc. would help their teams get?

On a more serious note though, Wade only has real value if he signs for cheap. If he doesn't (and won't), then he will be overpaid for his services no matter where he goes

Your anti-Wade agenda is getting old.

In comparison to Dirk, Wade is the better playoffs and Finals performer, better career, and better overall player. Even now he's still better than current Dirk. Wade>Dirk.

You're getting worse than Lebron stans trying to tear Wade down all the time.

Waste of forum space. Denver offered 2/$52m.

The question isn't who really wants him...it's who really THINKS they can get him away from Miami. Even if Wade is open to moving on, most teams want him but simply can't afford him. Other teams want him, but he doesn't want them. If Wade hated Miami from the start of free agency, he'd be a Knick right now.

Wade wants to stay in Miami. Miami wants him to stay. They just can't get it to work. Divorce.

Wade is going to Chicago for 3/$60 (probably having to make the all-star team in year 2) or Denver for 2/$52.

Considering (a) Denver is far under the salary floor (i.e. Money already spent) and (b) would get a ton of money from tickets and merchandise , giving 25 million to wade probably costs us net 10 million per

Very easily worth it.

If he does sign with us.

Oh please. The guy nearly took his team to the ECF's without Bosh and Whiteside. 1 game away. He still averages 20 PPG. With the contracts being handed out, who wouldn't want him? He is arguably the best player behind LeBron and Kobe the last decade and still can go.

Outside of his friend Bron, none of the elite teams are calling for Wade. Creeky knees,34 and doesn't play a lick of defense now a days. I wouldn't even take him over jr Smith as the point. Bthata how far wade has fallen

yea Wade's still a good player, ik where your hate is coming from but it's too much. I thought his RS was overrated and Dirk has an argument for being better but no doubt Wade's playoffs was fantastic.

He could of course help quite a few teams, but obviously he has diminishing returns as a player that struggles to stay healthy, can't shoot from range, and will only get worse defensively and on the glass going forward.

My main point is yeah, as the man in Denver, they probably don't even make the playoffs. But after seeing what he did in the playoffs, as the 3rd or 4th option on this Cavs team, he would be amazing.

Wade is dynamic and a 2 way player that can playmake defensively and offensively. He's a 22-24ppg scorer that can give you 6 and 6 on good efficiency.

Wade also needs maintenance days and can't go hard throughout a season. Wade also probably won't want to come off the bench.

Is that worth 52 million? Wade has so many stipulations it's tough to give him that money. Your team has to be deep enough to let him have his rest days because he's really only worth that money if you make it to the playoffs.

Well, the Nuggets want him and are willing to pay him $50 million. The main reason he's not pursued more heavily is because nobody thinks he'll actually leave Miami. If he made it abundantly clear he was parting ways with the Heat, he'd have plenty of good offers.

I mean, I get that Wade is nearing the end of his career and he's had his share injury issues. Investing big money in him is certainly not without risk. That being said, there's no denying that he's still an all-star caliber player, still one of the best SG's in the league, and still among the most clutch players in the league. Last season he led the Heat to a 3rd seed, a playoff series win, and to within 1 game of the ECF, despite missing Bosh after the all-star break. In the ECSF he led the Heat in total points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and was 2nd in steals. Very few players in history have done that in a playoff series.

Bottom line, Wade is no longer a championship caliber 1st option, but he's still capable of being the best player on a team that makes a deep playoff run. He may not be "Flash" any more, but he's extremely intelligent and savvy, he's unselfish, he's adaptable, and he's still an elite crunch-time performer. He understands how to play the game as well as anyone in the league.

Are you all not following the late day developments? The Bulls may have this all but sewn up. It's gonna break my heart some, but I can respect the decision. The only thing that would cause me to break up with him as a fan is if he ends up in Cleveland.

I haven't followed every pseudo update or rumor, but I think he'll ultimately end up staying in Miami. My guess is that they'll give him the 3rd year that he's seeking. I'm not sure how I feel about him being on the books for $20 million at 37 years old, but his salary would essentially be decreasing due to the elevated salary cap. I'm hoping his 3 point shooting in the playoffs was a sign of things to come. He's got the ability be solid beyond the arc, and we might finally see it become a bigger part of his game. That would definitely help him to continue being effective into his late 30's.

Like I said before, I think the Heat will end up breaking down and giving him a 3rd year. 3/60 or 3/57.
