I don't think it's going to be brutal for people who don't like Durant for doing this, because him winning is going to be viewed as worthless.

I don't like the move at all, because I believe the Warriors didn't need him and he didn't need the Warriors, but if I was talking to Durant I'd tell him not to worry because in this digital-internet-social media age memories are short. 3 months from now the buzz will have worn off, let alone 3 years from now. If he wins a championship or two while playing well he will win some of his fans back. But it just feels different. Like Reggie said recently (paraphrasing), "winning 3 or 4 championships in GS will never be the same as winning just 1 in OKC". I kinda agree with that.
