From what I remember:
- Drafted (technically traded for) Kobe Bryant
- Brought Shaquille O'Neal to the Lakers
- Hired Phil Jackson
- Resulted in 3-peat (and Phil and Kobe were part of the later re-peat)
- Went to (what at that time was one of the worst NBA franchises) the Grizzlies
- Built them into a pretty good/great team
- Goes to Warriors
- Drafts Klay
- Encourages trading Monte for Bogut, so Steph can become the guy
- Argues against trading Klay+ for Love
- Results in title + 73 win season (140 wins over 2 years)
- Helps convince Kevin Durant to sign with the Warriors
That's just like the last 20 years...
Pretty sure he had something to do with those 80s lakers teams also (hiring Pat Riley, who also became one of the best NBA Execs), but I'll let someone more informed speak to that.
